The
Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter: Built in 2000,
this is one of the first new buildings in the Gaslamp Quarter
in 100 years. With dozens of restaurants, bars, art galleries,
theaters, and shops within a two mile radius, the convention
center one block away, and the new Padres baseball park slated
to open nearby in 2004, this stylish hotel is conveniently
located for leisure and business travelers. The sweeping,
loft-like lobby has a sleek, modern design with blond and
dark wood accents, a fireplace, and warm-hued leather furnishings.
The Artesia Spa at the Hilton features a
full complement of rejuvenating treatments. Deep tissue massage,
facials or stone therapy may be combined with a variety of
salon services to create a complete day of relaxation.
The Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Hotel's
recreational amenities include a complimentary fitness center
that provides both cardio and free-weights, outdoor heated
pool, whirlpool and sundeck. Adjacent walking and running
trails that border San Diego's Big Bay allow
the opportunity to enjoy the city's near perfect climate.
