the hotel's 14 meeting rooms, 223 guest rooms and intimate
dining areas

de Cuisine Christophe Vessaire. The Westgate
offers French-California fusion cuisine in the award-winning
Le Fontainebleau, casual California continental fare in Cafe
Westgate, happy hour with live entertainment in the intimate
Plaza Bar and fresh salads, soups and sandwiches from the
Westgate Wine and Gourmet Delicatessen. Traditional afternoon
tea is served seven days a week in the grand lobby from 2:30
to 5:00 p.m. accompanied by live harp music. |

Fontainebleau - San Diego's Special Occasion Restaurant
French California fusion cuisine is freshly prepared by the
Westgate culinary team led by Chef de Cuisine Christophe Vessaire.
Le Fontainebleau has received the Five Star Diamond award
from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences for three
consecutive years as well as the Continental Gold award from
the Southern California Restaurant Writers Association. Lunch
highlights include ahi tuna, traditional Ceaser and Cobb salads,
shrimp nui and filet mignon. Dinner highlights include fresh
Sonoma duck breast, pan seared noisette of lamb, and sweet
butter poached scallops.
An
incredible Seafood Soiree is served on Friday nights with
choice of live Maine lobster or surf 'n turf and a glass of
champagne. Champagne Sunday Brunch features more than 50 gourmet
items including hand carved meats, made-to-order omelettes,
pastas and crepes, waffles, french toast, salads, international
cheeses and much more.
